The Abingdon Arms
The Abingdon Arms is a pub in the beautiful village of Beckley Oxfordshire. Serving seasonal food with local produce, a fantastic selection of local real ales and a very warm welcome. With spectacular views across Otmoor which have inspired the likes of Lewis Carol and Evelyn Waugh. The Abingdon Arms is only four and a half miles from the centre of Oxford, making it the perfect escape from the tourists and hassle of the city. The Abingdon Arms is a haven for lovers of food! We offer contemporary British food with a twist of unique flavours. Carefully presented by Alex and his dedicated kitchen team, all our food is made fresh in house each day. We pride ourselves on supporting local farmers and small businesses and all our ingredients are sourced as local as possible. On the menu, you will find many sophisticated dishes but can also indulge in a mouthwatering beef burger served with our homemade brioche buns and hand cut chips. Our wood fired pizza oven investment in 2020 has proved to be amazingly popular and we are now 'well-known' in Oxfordshire for our delicious authentic pizzas.

We have 2 kegerators that you can hire from us and use at your own house/wedding/party!
We also have a generator so if you want to take the kegerator somewhere with no electricity, you can hire this too!

Our local beers
An ale selection of local excellence! The Abingdon Arms thrives to also source its beers from local and small breweries in Oxfordshire. We have 3 ales on tap all year round with additional guest ales appearing seasonally. Many of our brewers use spring water from Oxfordshire and it’s yet another reason why we support them! As we try to change our beers regularly, please give us a call to find out what’s on tap.
Otmoor Nature Reserve
We are the closest pub to Otmoor, so perfectly positioned for a delicious meal after a long walk. Otmoor is a haven for wildlife in the heart of Oxfordshire. The visitor trail leads you alongside an expansive floodplain grazing marsh, home to wading birds and wildfowl year round.
OUTSIDE CATERING AND EVENTS
We cater for weddings, parties and any other celebration you can imagine. All our food is homemade and cooked fresh in our kitchen. We will endeavour to accommodate all requests where possible using our equiptment - hog roasts, weddings bars and even pizza parties at your choice of location.
